The region is known for its heterogeneous assemblage of individual buildings of various sizes and forms. The new municipal building continues this and constitutes another element within this composition. The decision to break up the body of the building into two individual cubes preserves the proportions of the district. The building is set back from the main road, creating a usable space in the front.

The proposed architectural language reflects the community of Bronschhofen as open and dynamic. The municipal administration is given its own distinct identity, making it a place unlike any other.

In its basic incarnation, the stone facade adopts the material composition of the surrounding buildings, all while speaking its own language.

Inside, the building’s quality is captured in a clear and open structure. Spacious entranceways and straightforward access corridors bathed in light create clarity and a sense of security.
