The building at Hintergasse 2 was completely rebuilt in 1991. With the exception of remains of the old city wall on the ground floor, no historical substance has been preserved.
The new façade is a pure reconstruction; new additions at that time were the entrance to the house in the direction of the main square, the skylights on the north and south sides and a bridge crossing into the northern garden on the 02 upper floor.
The flat on the ground floor is now to be combined with the north flat on the first floor 02 for the owner’s use.
