All of the main functions for the studio house for a family of artists are organised in an open floor plan. The slight elevation of the access area means that the floor plan slopes toward the existing basement, therefore incorporating itself more gently into the edge of the terrain. The bathroom breaks away from the body of the building as an adjoining room.
The interior is designed in a very minimalistic way. Only minimal electric installations are planned. Plumbing is limited to a small bathroom and a sink for the kitchen area, as well as one for the washing machine in the basement area. Instead of central heating the building has a hand-decorated fireplace.
